Today, I learned headlines
cut
razor deep.
I bleed confusion.
Words won't form easily.
They're g a r b l e d mess
behind ribs.
Can we talk about this?
Can we stop SCREAMING?

I am not gun control
Today
I am human
Today

I ask
can we all be human
for a moment?
One moment

innocence lost
